Saint Alphonsus Liguori,
you are honoured as the patron of Arthritis.
You suffered immensely
and yet still practiced God's teachings.
Help me remember the suffering
of Jesus Christ when my fingers ache
or my joints are sore with pain.
Help me alleviate my pain,
O great Saint, so that
my arthritis will either be
abstained or cured
so that I may suffer no more.
